Inspired by the Swiss Gruyere, Darima Cheese’s Gruyere boasts a sweet nutty flavour which gets stronger and complex when aged longer – between 3 to 15 months.
Serving Suggestions: Bread, fruit and mustard. Traditionally used as a melting cheese with Emmental for cheese fondue it works well for grilling in sandwiches too. Use it in baking quiches, cheese puffs, frittatas, cheese soufflés, and omelettes.
Suggested Pairings: Champagne, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Zinfandel and Merlot.
