Thai Soup Simmer Paste
A light, salty and citrusy paste bursting with flavors from lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and garlic. In arguably a pantry favorite. This hot and sour soup is derived from two words “Tom Yum”; Tom refers to the boiling process, while Yum means ‘mixed’.

Ingredients: Lemongrass, Galangal, Onions, Garlic, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Red Chili, Spices
Packing Size: 100 gms
1. Sauté 30-40g paste in 1 tbsp cooking oil until fragrant. Add vegetables & protein of choice and cook for 1-2 mins
2. Toss 2-3 pcs of fresh galangal and lemongrass into the paste.
3. Option : For Tom Yum add 800ml of water or vegetable stock. For Tom Kha add 300ml of coconut milk and 600ml of water.
Season with 1 tsp sugar, 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce and salt to taste.
4. Simmer for 10-15mins. Garnish with 5-6 fresh kaffir lime leaves and lime juice.
